A Northeast Iowa resident has been charged in connection with the search for a family sought by South Carolina authorities.

56-year-old Tami Linne of Bluffton is being charged with aggravated misdemeanor Accessory to a Felony. According to the Winneshiek County Sheriff, Linne is accused of willingly and knowingly harboring wanted felon William Ray and his family, reported missing from South Carolina.

South Carolina authorities had been searching for the family, as they were concerned for the wellbeing of their 2-year-old girl Dakota, as the parents are alleged heavy methamphetamine users.

The family was discovered in Winneshiek County late Thursday, and the child was in good health. William Ray faces multiple charges, and Jessica Ray is charged with theft.

More charges are pending.
