Cedar Falls Community Main Street Cancels ARTapalooza 2020

Unfortunately 2020 has taken another event from us and just when you thought it would slow down. If you have been a fan of ARTapalooza the past 15 years, unfortunately I must let you know that it has been cancelled.

According to KWWL and Cedar Falls Community Main Street, ARTapalooza which would have been celebrating it's 15th year this year in downtown Cedar Falls on September 12th, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately Cedar Falls Community Main Street decided there was no safe way to continue the event this year during the pandemic which is not only a sad decisions for the artists involved but also for the attendees.

Along with the ARTapalooza, the 4th annual Downtown Show and Shine that was supposed to be held on September 13th has also been canceled due to the pandemic. It is hard to get the number of volunteers needed to run an event like that and still keep it safe. At this time there have been no other announcements of cancelled events from Cedar Falls community main street but you can keep up to date on the events for the rest of the year here.
