Chiefs Player Uses Super Bowl Win To Help Homeless Dogs
The most common question after winning the big game is "what're you going to do now"? Then the player is supposed to pump out a scripted, "I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!". While there have been some variations over the years, no one suspected Kansas City Chiefs' Defensive Tackle, Derrick Nnadi to say what he said.
Nnadi has partnered with the KC Pet Project to sponsor all of the adoptions of dogs in the group. To put in simpler terms, all dogs that became available at the shelter on or before Super Bowl Sunday are eligible to be adopted for free, thanks to Nnadi.
On his twitter Nnadi wrote "The perfect way to cap off this great season!!". Derrick is no stranger to giving back either, he had started his own foundation which aims to "cultivate positive change in people's lives", including children, and families in need.
