It's Cinco de Quarantine! Erm, Mayo! And this year many of us will cerebrate with a homemade margarita. Good news for us in Iowa, it costs LESS than the national average to make 'em at home for Iowans.

According to House Method, the average cost of making your own marg at home is $2.56. However, for Iowans, the average is only $2.34.

The methodology House Method uses is simple, based on zip codes from each U.S. state, they priced the cost of all the ingredients from a popular margarita recipe including the cost of the Tequila.

Arizona boasts the cheapest margarita in the country at $2.01, while Alabama has the costliest homemade marg, averaging $3.00.

As always, enjoy safely tonight!
