Here is the latest Iowa High School boys basketball poll.

Only two teams from the Cedar Valley and northeast Iowa are featured in the fifth rankings of the season, released by the Associated Press Monday afternoon. Four others, however, are receiving votes for the top 10.

The rated area squads are metro rivals Waterloo West (8-1) and Cedar Falls (7-1). At No. 2 and No. 4, respectively, the Wahawks and Tigers are ranked in the same spots they were a week ago. Each team received one first-place vote.

The poll features two new No. 1 teams and a big shake-up in the Class 3A rankings. All of the teams rated in Iowa's second-largest class are different positions than they were in the last week.

The new leaders are Easton Valley (Class 1A) and Norwalk (Class 3A), which made a big leap to claim the top spot. The Warriors jumped six spots, after being ranked eighth in the Jan. 13 survey.

Dike-New Hartford and Gladbrook-Reinbeck both suffered losses last week and fell out of the poll. The Wolverines and Rebels both received votes to be ranked among the top 10 this week, as did Aplington-Parkerburg and Don Bosco.
