Iowa High School Football 2020 Week 6 Area Schedule

Cedar Falls opened week six of the Iowa high school football season with a decisive road victory Thursday night.

Ryan Ostrich ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries in the Tigers' 41-16 win over Cedar Rapids Washington at Kingstom Stadium. Cedar Falls (3-2) scored on its first two offensive plays enroute to a 41-0 halftime lead.

The victory snapped a two-game losing skid for Cedar Falls, which was idle last week.

The Friday night schedule includes 10 games across the state featuring a match-up of rated teams in the Associated Press poll. One of the marquee games is in Preston, where No. 9 Easton Valley hosts top-ranked Don Bosco in a collision of eight-player powers. The other spotlight showdown is in Monona where No. 9 MFL-Mar-Mac tries to shutdown fourth-ranked South Winneshiek's new-look option attack that has generated more than 1,300 rushing yards this season.
