The Waterloo Black Hawks have scheduled five exhibition games in September as part of their preparation for the upcoming 2019-20 United States Hockey League season.

Two of the five preseason games will be played at Young Arena in Waterloo. The Black Hawks will host the Madison Capitols on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 3 PM and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Friday, Sept. 20 at 6 PM.

Waterloo's exhibition schedule was released Friday by team officials, who will use the tune-up games to make final decisions about the opening night roster. All five of preseason games will be played within a span of nine days, starting with a road match-up against the Omaha Lancer on Friday, Sept. 13.

The USHL regular season begins during the final days of September with the 2019 DICK’S Sporting Goods Fall Classic in Pennsylvania, held on neutral ice at the Pittsburgh area. The Black Hawks’ first regular season home game will be on Saturday, Oct. 12 against the Green Bay Gamblers (For regular season schedule, CLICK HERE).

All full-season Black Hawks ticket packages included all five exhibition games at no additional cost. There is still time to order season tickets, including Young Arena’s new Terrace Reserved option. For more details, call the Hawks’ front office at (319) 232-3444.

Single-game tickets for the preseason will go on sale from the Black Hawks' Box Office on Sept. 4. Individual regular season seats will be available the same day.
