DJ Khaled is taking his talents to the big screen. According to Deadline, the DJ will act alongside Will Smith in a new animated film by the name of Spies in Disguise. The movie is set to debut in theaters next September.

Spies in Disguise, which will be directed by Epic animator Nick Bruno and Ferdinand storyboard artist Troy Quane, explains the partnership of Lance, played by Will Smith, and Walter, who is played by Tom Holland. These two spies have to learn to work together in order to save the world. It was also reported that the film will have a 1960s look with a modern twist. The film will be set in their own version of Washington, D.C.

It is still unclear what role the Grateful artist will be playing, but nonetheless he will be making his debut in the world of animated movies. Should be pretty interesting.

On the other hand, there's Will Smith. For Smith, the film will ultimately mark just another day in the office for a legit superstar who's left his mark in both Hollywood and hip-hop. Recently, the actor-rapper teamed up with Marc Anthony and Bad Bunny for a new track called "Esta Rico." There's no word on if Smith will be dropping off a new project, but you never know.

Here's to hoping we get a Spies in Disguise trailer in the next few months.
