A Postville woman has been arrested early this morning (Tuesday, Aug. 13), on several charges, after being pulled over by Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies.


Shortly after 2am, officers stopped a vehicle on county road V-68 near Westgate.
The driver, 43 year old Teresa Forbes of Postville, was taken into custody for Driving While her License is Revoked, not having proper insurance, Interference with Official Acts, and Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road. She was taken to the Fayette County jail.

Two other area residents were arrested Monday afternoon on separate warrants:
At about 2:30pm, 24 year old Kristy Hall of Oelwein was wanted on a Fayette County warrant for Failure to Appear, on an original charge of Interference with Official Acts, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hall was held on a $1500 cash only bond.

And just before 5:30pm, officers located 42 year old Janita Brown of Oelwein, who had a valid Black Hawk County warrant for a Parole Violation. Brown was later transferred to Black Hawk County.
