Don’t miss your chance to honor a fallen service person, as the Sullivan-Hartogh-Davis Cedar Valley Honor Flight and the Exchange Club of Waterloo honor soldiers and sailors from Black Hawk county who gave their lives serving our country.

On Saturday, August 8th, the flags will be paraded over the bridge to Veteran's Memorial Park beginning at 7:30am followed by a brief program at 8:00am. Flags will then be flown starting from 8:00am that morning until 4:00pm on Sunday, August 9th at Veteran's Memorial Hall, 104 W. 5th St. in Waterloo. This event is free and open to the public. Masks and social distancing will be required.

The Field of Honor will be populated with up to 600 flags, with each flag representing a soldier, airman, marines and sailors that gave their life during the following wars....Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and current conflicts.

For just a $40 donation, you can sponsor a flag, and then take it home to fly proudly. To reserve your flag call 319-830-8807 or go to: exchange-club-of-waterloo.square.site.
