Iowa Could Expect Snow As Early As…?

This is something I'm dreading. I swear, it felt like only yesterday we were in the midst of ninety degree weather and the blistering July sun. That's changed. Now, while I do fancy the brisk autumn air and iconic change of scenery, I'm not naive, It won't last very long. In fact, according the the 2019-2020 farmers almanac, we can except the very first snow flurries in the first week of November. Talk about bad news.

This is not to say that it will continue to snow throughout November. Actually, after the first week of small snow showers, November gets quite mild again. The snow doesn't hit hard until the second week in December, the perfect time for a white Christmas. Do me a favor mother nature, keep the fall weather for a little while longer.
