Iowa Driver Busted For Speeding… BIG TIME

A woman was pulled over on Interstate 35 in Mason City on earlier this week for doing 137 miles-per hour in a Ferrari 488 Spider she'd rented.

Yes she had an excuse. She didn't know she was doing 137. Uh-uh, she thought she was only doing 100. Which, of course, would still be extremely illegal! She's looking at a fine of $335, which seems kind of low when you think about it. Some airplanes barely hit those speeds at takeoff.

Despite her joyride ending in a hefty ticket, she was not under the influence and her insurance was valid, so she was able to drive (slower) away and continue to enjoy her incredibly expensive rental car. Makes the KIA Rio I rented last fall seem kinda boring.
