If you're soon to be in the market for a luxury automobile, you're about to have a new place to shop in the state of Iowa.

The Des Moines Register reports that Woodhouse Auto Family will open a Porsche dealership in West Des Moines, Iowa. It will be the only Porsche dealer in the state and the first one in Iowa since 2008. Woodhouse has been planning the dealership at 7220 Lake Drive off Interstate 80 since 2022. In February of last year, the lot was purchased for $1.86 million, according to the Register.

The Register reports that architectural plans are still pending, but the dealership is still on track to open in West Des Moines by 2025. Woodhouse purchased the remaining Porsche inventory from a dealer in Urbandale, Iowa in 2008 when that dealership dropped the Porsche line of vehicles. Woodhouse also owns dealerships that sell luxury brands like Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Cadillac, Genesis, and Maserati.
