Some exciting news has come out of the Midwest manufacturing giant John Deere. On February 28th, officials from the company announced a major product launch at the Commodity Classic Trade Show in Houston, Texas.

While this news is straight out of Texas, it will have a huge affect on business here in Eastern Iowa.

“This is one of the largest product launches in our company’s history, and it reflects John Deere’s commitment to seeking input from our customers and delivering quality solutions that unlock new value for their operations,” said Aaron Wetzel, Vice President of Production & Precision Agriculture Production Systems.

Everything We Know So Far About the 9RX830

This vehicle will be the largest John Deere tractor yet. It also will have the most horse power out of any of the other tractors that company has ever produced.

According to officials from John Deere, the newest tractor has 830 horsepower, a JD18 engine, and e21™ PowerShift transmission.

The 9RX830 was designed in Cedar Falls, according to reports. It has been confirmed that the final product will be manufactured right in the Waterloo John Deere factory.

Experts confirm that the new series will have a base weight of 74,000 pounds, with a maximum ballast of 84,000 pounds.

When Will It Be Available?

In March, John Deere will start collecting initial orders for the new tractor, according to reports. Production on the 9RX830 will begin in the next fiscal year. So, if you are in the market for a new tractor, 2025 might be the year for you to make that investment.
