The San Francisco 49ers 2017 1st round draft pick, Solomon Thomas, lost his sister in 2018 to suicide after a very hard battle with depression. Ella Thomas was only 24 years old at the time. A year later Solomon Thomas is a budding young star on an undefeated 49ers team. Thomas on the field looks incredible. Off the field, he's fighting emotions he's never felt before. Enter Zoe.

Zoe is a young black coated french bulldog, with a smile that can light up any room. The players love playing with zoe, feeding her treats and spending time with the tiny pup. So much so, the 49ers actually adopted Zoe, and had her certified as the very first emotional support dog in the NFL. For Thomas, Zoe provides enough emotional support to get through his hardest of days. She delivers relief on days where he struggles with the loss of his sister. While she doesn't travel with the team, there's no doubt Zoe shares the success the team has achieved so far.
