When steroids didn't work he went to the hospital, where a CT scan revealed a mucus-covered mass on the floor of his nasal cavity.

Doctors removed it originally thinking it was some kind of cyst, but it turned out to be a wayward tooth growing in the man's nose.

Doctors were stumped as to how the man developed the problem, but it's exceedingly rare, occurring in less than 1% of the population. The patient's symptoms went away following the procedure. [LiveScience]

An issue of Life Magazine featuring The Beatles went missing from the county's library all the way back in 1968, never to be seen again. Until now.

The library received a package last week which contained the issue, a money order for $100, and a note that said, quote, "I stole this magazine from the Parma Ridge Road Library when I was a kid. I'm sorry I took it. I've enclosed a check for the late fee."

The library shared a photo of the magazine on Facebook, thanking the Beatles fan for returning it, and "clearing your conscience." [UPI]

Police received a 911 call about a car going the wrong way Saturday afternoon. The witness followed the vehicle into a parking lot and told officers the driver was "heavily impaired."

Authorities at the scene smelled alcohol and said 61-year-old Joni Laughlin appeared disoriented and confused.

Police tried to conduct a field sobriety test but Laughlin "was unable to understand the instructions to even get into the test taking stance."

A breath test showed her b.a.c. at 0.254, more than three times the legal limit. Oh, and her four children--all younger than 15--were in the vehicle, too.

Laughlin is facing charges including extreme DUI and aggravated DUI with a passenger under 15. [AZfamily.com]
