New Waterloo Warming Center Now Open

As we settle in for a long cold winter, with highs mostly in the 20's/30's and lows forecast to dip as low as the single digits over the next week...a new "Overnight Warming Center" is now open in Waterloo.

Your help is needed to "get the word out" to those who are homeless or un-sheltered and let them know there is a place for them to go. The Jubilee United Methodist Freedom Center, located at 1621 East Fourth Street, is hosting an overnight warming center, open now until March 31st, 2020.

Hours are 8pm to 7am daily. Sponsored by the Cedar Valley Hospitality House and area service agencies.
