UPDATE: Cedar Falls police reported Thursday afternoon that a missing Cedar Falls teenager has been found and is safe.

On Wednesday, authorities asked the public for help in finding 15-year-old Cadence Knock. Police began their search for the runaway after she left Cedar Falls High School at 11 AM Tuesday and hadn't been seen or heard from since.

In a news release, Cedar Falls police thanked the community for helping to spread the message.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a runaway teenager from Cedar Falls.

Police are attempting to find 15-year-old Cadence Knock. She's described as a 5-foot, 9-inch white female, who weighs around 160 pounds. Knock has brown eyes and blonde hair that is shaved on the right side.

At the time of her last known appearanace, Knock was wearing a long, black winter coat with jeans. She was also carrying a large book bag.

According to police, Knock was last seen leaving Cedar Falls High School at 11 AM Tuesday. Officials said she has not been seen or heard from since.
