Five people have been arrested in Northeast Iowa, on numerous drug charges, involving marijuana and methamphetamine.

The arrests happened at about 6:30pm Friday, June 26th, after the Winneshiek County Sheriff executed a search warrant at a residence on Old Stage Road. The warrant was acquired after a lengthy investigation by the sheriff's office.

Five area residents were taken into custody on 4 felony drug charges, 7 serious misdemeanor drug charges, 4 simple misdemeanor drug charges, and 1 outstanding probation violation warrant.

45 year old Thomas Thompson of Decorah, 39 year old Jamie Bockman of Decorah, 42 year old Kari Teepe of Fort Atkinson, and 44 year old Harold Jacobson Junior of Decorah, were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 28 year old Jacob Erickson of Decorah was arrested for violation of a probation arrest warrant.

Decorah Police assisted the Winneshiek County Sheriff. The case remains under investigation.
