Who's ready to get scared?! I know I am... Look,  Halloween is supposed to be the time to get scared and watch all the horror movies out there while it is dark and cold outside (we are still working on the cold part here in Iowa). You all know I love my horror movies. from the cheesiness of the original Halloween movie to creepy children in the movie Children of the Corn. They are all in good fun and really get the adrenaline going. Honestly, you could probably burn off just as many calories from being scared of horror movies as you would exercising!

I recently put together my list of favorite Halloween family friendly movies that the whole family can enjoy in good fun together but that is not this list. So if you jump at every sound and are prone to nightmares after horror movies, this may not be for you (and definitely not for kids!).

As you check out my list below, you will notice I am a HUGE Stephen King fan and I am more into psychological thrillers rather than blood, guts and gore but don't worry there are a few of those classic movies too!

Grab the popcorn, grab your blanket to cover your eyes if need be and get ready to get scared! Make sure to let me know what some of your favorite horror movies are because I am on the hunt for the scariest movie out there (and if you know me, you know it takes a lot to scare me).
