The best way for us to flatten the curve in COVID-19 ravaged Black Hawk County is to stay home. However, if you need to get tested, that's not possible. Luckily, a new Test Iowa sight has opened in Waterloo at Crossroads Center. Here's what you need to know before you go to be tested for coronavirus:

  • You must have an appointment or you'll be turned away. You can make an appointment on Test Iowa's website.
  • This is only the second drive-thru testing site for the Test Iowa program.
  • According to KWWL, The location, which is in a tent, will be open from 8 a.m until 6 p.m. beginning Friday, May 1. Prior, the hours are 12-noon until 6 p.m.
