What’s Your Life Skill Blind Spot?

Human beings are incredible aren't we? We've accomplished fetes that we ourselves can't understand, yet, somehow, there are situations where we can seem like the dumbest creatures on the planet. A "life skill blind spot" fits this description perfectly. A life skill blind spot is something that is so simple, so mundane, so unbelievably easy, that we we laugh at the very thought of not being able to do it. I'm not ashamed to admit I have one myself.

My life skill blind spot is not knowing how to change a tire. I was never taught by my dad when I was a kid, and (knock on wood) I've never had a situation where I needed to change my tire. It seems like a life necessity to know how to properly work a tire jack, yet, if I lose a tire at any point in my life, I'll be calling a tow truck. What's your "life skill blind spot"?
