You’re Not A True Iowan If You Haven’t Done These 10 Things

Having only lived in Iowa for a little bit over a month now I continuously find myself wondering what this state is known for. If you asked the locals they'd each tell you something different, which is perfectly understandable considering that everyone has different interests. After a bit of digging however, I finally came across a list of what I think everyone who considers themselves a true Iowan has done, or should do.

1). Visit the Iowa State Fair

2). Spend Time at the Iowa Great Lakes

3). Adventureland!

4). The Bridges of Madison County

5). The Field of Dreams Baseball Field

6). Attend an Iowa or Iowa State Football game

7). Caucus

8). RAGBRAI

9). Visit The American Gothic House

10). Take a trip to the Loess Hills

Become a true Iowan. Get out and accomplish everything you can in this gorgeous state.
